History museum

The Valais History Museum shows the Valais as a region crossed and influenced by many cultures, witness to the past and present history of Europe.

Nestled in an internationally renowned architectural setting, the museum overlooks the city of Sion and borders the imposing Basilica of Valère. Together with the art museum and the nature museum, it forms the constellation of the Valais cantonal museums.
